They not only read, but also understand the meaning of the reading they read. The importance of reading fondly has a positive impact on students, they will seek more input and will quickly acquire their second language and be more effective, than students who are not fond of reading.
The study aims to determine the effect of extensive reading on reading comprehension and attitudes in elementary school students in Ethiopia. To succeed in understanding a complex reading, students must be involved in extensive reading, because the more texts they read, the more they get. From the extensive reading approach, it is actually to help students better their reading skills, not to learn the language.
